Country Rose Developers

Established in 1992, Country Rose Ltd is a property development company based in Limassol, Cyprus. The basic tenet of Country Rose is based on the beliefs of it owner - that it is possible to build homes without destroying the natural environment. To this end the Country Rose Project, the only one of its kind in Cyprus, has taken a big step and created houses and bungalows set near the small village of Souni, upon a gentle hillside overlooking the Akrotiri peninsula with views to the Mediterranean. All our homes are built from local natural materials and a wealth of wood and the area is left, as far as possible to allow building, in its natural state, with indigenous pine, carob and olive trees found along with fragrant herbs and low growing shrubs. This, of course, encourages wildlife and migrating and native birds are found in their thousands. Following his lifelong ambition, owner Andreas Makedonas, has no plans to extend his holdings and start further Projects anywhere else on the Island, thus maintaining the exclusivity of Country Rose - his aim now is to use his remaining land to offer a certain lifestyle to discerning customers by creating distinctive homes in very large plots with amenities to suit a variety of tastes - stables, paddocks, tennis courts, guesthouses - almost anything the owner would like to have incorporated.
